Keep Default Focus Ring

You might have encountered websites that remove the default focus ring for aesthetics with outline: none—I surely am guilty of doing this early in my career without realising that this significantly reduces affordance for keyboard users for whom the focus ring is a landmark to understand which element they will activate by pressing the Enter key.

The bare minimum is to leave the default outline property as is, but usually I like to customise the color, offset, and even radius for more Aesthetic focus rings—all without trading off on aesthetics.
